There are a couple of headline new features. The S5 now has a fingerprint reader, which you can use to unlock the phone or to make payments; currently only PayPal is supported. The fingerprint reader can also be used to secure and unlock private storage on the phone, so you can lock down images you wish to keep especially private, for example.

Apple's bought camera sensors from Sony before, and this year we're going to see a new, 13-megapixel sensor that takes up less room without compromising image quality. But that's not what everybody thinks.
The China Post, quoting a tip from the country's Nomura Security, claims that the next iPhone won't go for a 12 or 16-megapixel sensor,

He calls the handsets iPhone 6 Mini, iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 XL (these look rather like the iPhone 5C variant though).

Sony Gives Up On The PC Market

Times are tough for everyone in every industry these days, and even huge companies that are making the PCs that you use every day are no exception. There are a ton of companies out there doing the same thing, and less people have extra money to upgrade to the latest and greatest things that are coming out. When your company is struggling with a business that isn't even your main priority anymore, it's probably about time to give it up. And that's exactly what Sony is doing. They are selling their PC business to investment fund Japan Industrial Partners.

Sony has previously came out and said that they were talking to Lenovo about joining forces, so it's a little bit odd that Vaio isn't being sold to another huge PC brand. That makes the whole thing a bit more surprising. But, if you really think about it, the PC market isn't doing that well at all. In 2013 the entire PC market went down by 10%, even after 316 million PCs were sold.

When Sony announced the sale of Vaio, they spoke on the huge changes in the global PC industry and also stated that smartphones an tablets were the number one concern of the company. They have been moving more toward the mobile side of tech, and that's where they need to aim their focus.

If this news surprised you, then you may have quite a few more surprises headed your way. It's very likely that we will see many more huge brands doing the exact same thing as the industry keeps changing. Everyone was blown away when IBM

New “Smarty Ring” Could Be The New “Smart Watch”

Fashion is ever changing. We have seen this as the years have gone by. But, much like fashion, technology too, is every changing. Both are ever advancing and making different strides. Recently we have seen both start to integrate themselves closer together in an attempt to mesh. While yes we have seen some of the graphic t-shirt that can plug into an mp3 player and light up the shirt based off of the levels of the music. We have seen electronic belt buckles that display words and phrases in marque fashion. More recently, we have seen larger tech companies, such as Samsung, walk into this realm of “wearable tech”. The Samsung Galaxy Gear is the first “smartwatch” to be seen on the mass market from a larger electronics company, and was met with mixed results. There was a recent article on the “Ring Clock” as well which looks oddly reminiscent of this new “Smarty Ring” that is currently in the design process right now.
